/////////////////////// wonderlust

This project is surrounded by the phenomena of wonder and curiosity, and all the positive things that these notions encompass. Wonderlust is the proposed framework for a social center and gallery space whose goals are to expand upon wonder, and encourage the community to be more active in their exploration and curiosity.

Several points of interest were explored throughout this project, including: the nature of wonder, wonder in the everyday versus the quotidian, curiosity and imagination in adults and children, the sensation of the unknown (and in turn, being lost), and ways to ignite and manage curiosity.

The proposed center will hold lectures, exhibits, and special events that will span across several disciplinary fields. The actual creation of the space was reflective in the same notions that the center hopes to promote, causing curiosity and moments of unknown in the form-making.
